In a recent World Bank assessment, the shocking statistic painted a grim picture for youths aged 15-24 years. Cases of suicide attempts among this group are rising. Further, they top the list of those affected by HIV/Aids, mainly due to careless sex & lack of access to HIV information and prevention services.

Continued neglect of this group by the society is potentially fodder for the collapse of the community. Haiba hopes to stem this generational loss through the following programs:

• Regular health and lifestyle discussions in schools, mosques and madrasas
• Youth groups involvement in HIV-AIDS awareness/prevention campaigns
• Physical Improvement of the Kibera clinic
• Regular health camps
• Specialist clinics services
• Sports development for a healthy lifestyle- soccer, basketball gymnasium, fitness center.
