The foundation has been active in implementing education services and mentorship program among other interventions focusing on the youth, health and social services. Its operations are primarily implemented with support from members and well-wishers’ contribution as well as grants from like-minded organization within and outside of the Nubian community.
As part of its mentorship program, HAIBA conducts annual retreats mainly in august. This event targets the K.C.P.E and K.C.S.E awardees from 2007 to date.
Haiba took a total of 44 awardees to ST. Mary’s pastoral center in Nakuru County. This retreat will long be remembered as fun, enlightening, and a great experience for all. We had a great time. Awardees came back pumped up, motivated, and proud to be part of the Haiba big family. We learned and above all we had FUN!
The success of the retreat did not just happen; it took many days of preparation and planning. Its success is directly attributed to the dedication, commitment and hard work of the planning team.
